GETTING STARTED

Below you’ll find everything you need to know to get started, along with important booking and attendance information.

If you’re new to Reformer Pilates, you are exactly where you belong.
Our studio is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and accessible — whether you are brand new to movement or returning after time away. You do not need prior experience or a certain fitness level to begin. Our instructors guide every class with thoughtful instruction so you can move safely and confidently.

You are just a few steps away from starting your Pilates journey!

STEP 1: Create WellnessLiving Account

All scheduling, purchases, and reservations are managed through WellnessLiving.

Once your account is created, you’ll be able to:

  • Sign the studio waiver

  • Purchase class passes or memberships

  • Reserve and cancel classes

  • Join waitlists

  • Manage your schedule in one place

STEP 2: Reserve Your Spot in an Introduction to the Reformer Class

If you are new to Reformer Pilates, our Introduction to the Reformer class is a prerequisite for joining our ongoing group classes. During class, you’ll:

  • Learn how to set up and adjust the Reformer safely

  • Be introduced to essential Pilates principles

  • Practice foundational exercises used in our group classes

This shared foundation supports your safety and helps maintain a high-quality group experience for everyone.

The Introduction to Pilates Class has its own pass, which is priced at a reduced single-class rate.

Already have Reformer Pilates Experience?

If you have prior reformer experience, you are welcome to start with a Level 1 Strong Foundations Class.

Don't want to wait for an Introduction Class?

If the Introduction classes are full or you prefer a one-on-one setting, a private session is another excellent way to begin. Because instructor availability varies, private sessions are coordinated by request. See Private Session Info HERE.

YOUR FIRST CLASS

Please arrive about 10 minutes early so you can settle in without feeling rushed. The Introduction to Reformer class will help you understand the basic Pilates principles, the reformers in our studio, and the basic terminology we use to cue the movements in class. Your instructor will guide you through the foundational movements, so be prepared to move. Please wear socks and comfortable clothing that allows movement and avoid garments with zippers, sharp edges, or abrasive materials that may damage equipment. Long hair should be tied up and all jewelry removed before class to prevent injury. Feel free to bring a water bottle. We supply everything else you need!

Punctuality matters: Late entry may not be permitted once class has begun to avoid disrupting the experience for others.

AFTER THE INTRODUCTION CLASS

Choosing the Right Class After the Introduction Class

Our classes, regardless of level, offer meaningful strength work. They are thoughtfully leveled to support safe progression and long-term success. As levels progress, exercises place greater demands on balance, coordination, joint mobility, and overall control. We encourage clients to build strong foundations before advancing into more dynamic movement. Many clients spend time developing confidence in Level 1 before progressing — and even experienced participants return to foundational classes to refine technique. Instructors are always happy to help guide you toward the level that best supports your body and your goals.

Choosing the Right Pricing Option

We offer several ways to attend based on your routine. Our pricing is designed to reward consistency; the more regularly you attend, the greater the value. Passes and Packages have expirations; however, the larger the package, the longer you have to use it.

OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFE MOVEMENT

Every client’s body and movement needs are unique. While group classes work beautifully for many, there are times when a more individualized setting provides the safest and most supportive experience. Our instructors may recommend private sessions or an alternative approach when additional support is needed.

It’s important to consult with your doctor before beginning any new exercise regimen. This is especially crucial if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or concerns about your physical health. Participating in our classes is at your own risk, and Pueblo Pilates is not liable for any injuries or health issues that may arise from your participation.
