POLICIES
These policies support a safe, respectful, and smoothly operating experience for all clients and instructors. By attending classes at Pueblo Pilates, you agree to the guidelines below.

Pueblo Pilates is a small-group, equipment-based studio. Each class reserves a dedicated reformer and instructor time just for you.
Because class size is limited, reservations and policies are structured to ensure fair access, consistent scheduling, and a supportive environment for all participants.
Health & Assumption of Risk
Participation in Pilates involves physical movement and use of equipment. Participants are responsible for consulting a physician regarding any medical concerns before participation. This is especially crucial if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or concerns about your physical health. By attending classes, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for your participation. Participating in our classes is at your own risk, and Pueblo Pilates is not liable for any injuries or health issues that may arise from your participation.

Equipment Limits
Our Reformers have a maximum weight limit of 350 lbs and a height limit of 6’3”. These guidelines ensure safe use of the equipment and proper class setup.
Class Observation
Non-Participants are not permitted in the studio because of space limitations and to maintain a focused environment.
Age Requirements
Participants must be 18 years or older. Clients aged 16–17 may attend if accompanied by a participating adult.
Intro Class or Session Requirement
All new clients must complete an Introduction to the Reformer class or a Private Pilates Session before attending ongoing group classes. This ensures a safe and confident introduction to the equipment and foundational movement principles.
Advanced Class Requirements
Our more advanced classes have system guardrails for your safety. If you are unable to reserve a spot in a Level 2&3 or 3 Class, it is either because you have not participated in enough classes yet or because something in your medical form has indicated that these classes may not be safe for you. Email the studio to discuss the option to bypass these guardrails.

Our Commitment to Safe, Supportive Movement
Every client’s body and movement needs are unique. While group classes work well for many, there are times when a more individualized setting provides the safest and most supportive experience.
Instructors may guide clients toward the class environment — including private sessions — that best aligns with their safety and progress.

Group Class Limitations and Individualized Support
Private sessions may be necessary when additional support is needed for safety or progress:
• Instructors may recommend private sessions if participants need additional time to change body positions or need many modifications due to mobility limitations.
• Clients may return to group classes if they demonstrate that they can transfer and apply the learned modifications themselves.
• In rare circumstances, Instructors may recommend alternative exercise options.
Instructor Class Placement Guidance
Instructors may recommend the class level that best supports your safety, progress, and overall experience.
Clients may be asked to remain in — or return to — a foundational class until they demonstrate readiness to advance.
Class level recommendations are based on safety, mechanics, and overall class flow.
